Dear Parents,
The Pepperell Middle
and High School Bands will be taking a trip to Six Flags over Georgia on Saturday, May 17, 2008. This is a reward trip for students who attend rehearsals and the spring concert. Parents and siblings are also welcome to attend.
NO ONE ELSE WILL BE ALLOWED TO GO WITH OUR GROUP.
Transportation will
be by Floyd County School bus. Parents are welcome to ride the bus, as well as siblings if the parent also rides. There is no cost for transportation. Students will need enough money for two meals, snacks, and possibly souvenirs. We suggest at least $20.00.
ALL band members
must ride the bus to Six Flags. However, the parent may sign their child out
at our 4:00 p.m. meeting or when we start to leave Six Flags at 9:00 p.m. as long as we have a note from the parent prior
to leaving that morning. Parents can only sign out their child. All other students will ride the bus back to PHS.
Every band member
must have a ticket in order to go on the Six Flags trip. Tickets can be purchased through the band for $29.00. A check made out
to Pepperell Band Boosters is due by May 12th if tickets are to be purchased through the band. You are welcome to purchase tickets on your own; however everyone
MUST have a ticket or season pass in their possession before they will be allowed on the bus.
Students CANNOT purchase a ticket or redeem a voucher at Six Flags. Once
purchased, ticket money cannot be refunded. Purchased tickets not used as part
of the trip may be picked up in the front office of the school on the Monday following the trip.
All those intending
to go on this trip should fill out the attached information sheet. This is also

A “Medical
