It's Band Camp Time!
Students- make sure you stay hydrated, wear light colors, shorts and tennis shoes. Water and Gatorade will be provided
for camp, and feel free to bring your own personal cooler if you wish. Breaks while outside will be frequent.
Eat breakfast before coming to camp, but avoid dairy and caffeine. Wear sunscreen!!
Parents, a reminder that the $100 band fee payment is due on Monday, 7/26. Thanks for your attention to this!
Lunch is not provided. Bring a lunch if you wish to stay on campus. There will be parent supervision during
the 12-2 break each day and the 5-7:30 break Thursday.
Dinner Friday will be provided for students. A parent meeting will begin in the lunchroom at 6:30, followed by
our band camp show at 8pm. We ask that parents attend the meeting to learn more about the band parent group's activities
and the ways we serve our students. We hope to see you there!
Working a Rome Braves game during camp? Those scheduled for games are excused after 5:00; make sure you have a
ride to the stadium lined up.

Monday, August 2nd
This performance is for all wind players (woodwinds and brass) and select percussion. All are welcome to come along.
Bus transportation will be provided to and from the stadium. Students receive free admission to the game.
Schedule for 8/2:
5:00 Meet at the band room
6:00 Buses depart for stadium
7:00 Performance
10:00 Approximate return to PHS
After we perform, all students will change into street clothes. At that time, they may be checked out by a
parent or stay until the band leaves to return to the high school.
